Open Fiber, Estracom ink Prato FTTH network deal

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber and business-oriented telecommunications provider Estracom have announced an infrastructure sharing deal to accelerate fibre-optic rollout in the city of Prato near Florence. Under the terms of the agreement, which was also signed by Prato city council, Open Fiber will have a 20-year right of use of Estracom's residential FTTH infrastructure in the historic city.
