Openreach will reduce wholesale charges amid Ofcom consult

Thursday 1 June 2017 | 08:30 CET | News
Ofcom has published an update on the pricing arrangements for certain wholesale services provided by BT, for when existing charge controls expires, and before new controls get implemented. The regulator explained that the charge controls set in the 2014 Fixed Access Market Reviews expired on 31 March and that it was consulting on new charge controls in the Wholesale Local Access (WLA) market review. These will come into effect from 1 April 2018. The consultation will run until 5 May.
