Optiva reports profitable Q4, helped by lower expenses

Thursday 4 March 2021 | 11:26 CET | News
Optiva reported lower revenues for the fourth quarter, but it also went back to a profit, helped by reduced costs for research and marketing. New CEO John Giere said he put his first focus on talking with customers, with the aim of building the company into a customer and employee-focused organisation with innovative and high-quality cloud-native products. The ultimate goal is to ensure long-term growth and profitability, he said. Optiva has a three-year product roadmap in place, with plans to offset legacy revenues by investing into cloud products.
