Optus delivers satellite data on Tasmania ferry

Optus Satellite and Electrotech Australia have introduced satellite data streaming services allowing passengers on the Spirit of Tasmania ferry service to stay connected. Consumer data services will be delivered alongside telemetry services, which provide communications visibility between the ferry and staff. The Spirit of Tasmania connects mainland Australia with Tasmania.
