Optus deploys mobile towers in Mackay and Bowen Basin

Australian operator Optus has announced it will continue to upgrade mobile coverage in Mackay and the Bowen Basin after switching on four new mobile towers. The new towers will address known black spots identified by the local community, providing residents and visitors with dedicated 4G mobile coverage to make and receive calls, texts and access mobile data for the first time.
