Optus invests AUD 3.85 mln in Northern Wheatbelt mobile network expansion

Australian operator Optus has announced it will continue to upgrade its mobile coverage across the Northern Wheatbelt region after switching on six new mobile towers. The new towers are designed to provide improved 4G mobile coverage and capacity for residents and visitors across the region to make and receive calls, texts and access mobile data. "This financial year, Optus has invested AUD 3.85 million in its mobile network across the region, working with local communities to improve mobile coverage in their area", said Optus' Territory General Manager for Regional Western Australia, Cameron
