Optus launches first fixed wireless mmWave connection powered by 5G Max network

Australian operator Optus has announced the first user trialling a fixed wireless mmWave connection powered by the new Optus 5G Max network. The trialist is sports and entertainment business Oakleigh Indoor Sports & Inflatable World in Huntingdale Melbourne. Oakleigh is seeing initial average download speeds of 2.5Gbps.
