Optus sees Q3 net profit grow more than 9%, revenue up 6.3%

Australian operator Optus saw its net profit for the quarter ended 31 December 2015 increase by 9.1 percent year-on-year to AUD 227 million. EBITDA rose 5 percent to AUD 685 million, while operating revenue was up 6.3 percent to AUD 2.43 billion, reflecting strong equipment sales, and sustained growth across Optus' mobile and fixed businesses.
