Optus to extend network in Eyre, introduce 4G at yr end

Australian operator Optus will roll out eight new sites on the Eyre Peninsula and introduce 4G services later this year, the company said, announced a continued investment plan for the area. Optus will expand coverage beyond Whyalla, Port Lincoln and Ceduna as well as at Caralue Bluff, Mt Dampier and Ungarra across the Eyre Peninsula over the last three years. The company has already rolled out more than 20 sites in the areafrom Port Neil, to Smoky Bay, Coffin Bay to Wudinna. The operator will deploy 4G services at the end of the year as new 4G spectrum becomes available. The Optus mobile
