Optus tops 40,000 students in Digital Thumbprint workshops

Australian operator Optus reports that, over the past year, more than 40,000 students in Sydney and Melbourne have attended an Optus Digital Thumbprint workshop. Optus 'Digital Thumbprint'education program is designed to provide high school students with an insight into the online world, and how to become savvy members of Australia's online community. Nearly 95 percent of participants confirmed they learnt something new in the workshop that they can apply to their everyday lives. Over 97 percent of teachers feel their knowledge of digital concepts increased as a direct result of the workshop,
