Optus tower brings relief to Lexton, tackles Mobile Black Spot

Monday 29 June 2020 | 14:17 CET | News
Australian operator Optus said it switched on a new tower in Lexton, delivering much needed coverage and connectivity to Western Victoria while also bringing relief to the town following the summer's devastating bushfires, as part of the Federal Government's Mobile Black Spot Program. In partnership with the Victorian Government, the new Optus tower located on Prince Street will support mobile connectivity in over 150 homes allowing residents to make and receive mobile calls, texts and browse the internet often for the first time from their properties.
