Optus uses app to get network information

Australian communications provider Optus has updated its Android app to allow the company to gather information about network quality. The new version of the OptusNow app will automatically provide information to Optus about a user's network strength, location of black spots, mobile phone faults, call dropouts, and indoor coverage.
