Optus welcomes govt's changes to telecom intercept law

Australian operator Optus has welcomed the government's recent changes to the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Amendment, which are designed to provide clarity for operators seeking to identify and block scam communications. In the first six months of 2021, Optus reports it has blocked more than 100 million voice calls.
