Oracle inks retail services contract with Italian stationer Legami

Oracle has announced a contract to provide a range of its retail services to Italian stationery brand Legami Milano. As part of a plan to open 30 new boutique stores over the next 3 years, Legami has implemented Oracle's Retail Xstore Point-of-Service (POS) and Retail Customer Engagement products, allowing employees to access relevant customer information in real-time and manage payments safely to improve customer service in stores. In the 6 months since being introduced, the modern POS has already significantly streamlined operations and reduced errors during transactions, said Oracle.
