Orange and NTT Group sign R&D framework agreement covering 5G, AI, IoT and cybersecurity

Orange and NTT Group have agreed a strategic collaboration to share research findings in areas including network transformation, IoT, AI, cybersecurity, and smart cities. The new R&D framework agreement, valid until 2022, could expand to additional fields in the future. For network systems and services, the scope of the partnership will cover research in 5G, LoRa, SDN, NFV, and open ecosystems.
