Orange claims narrow lead over Bouygues in LTE coverage

The CEO of Orange France, Fabienne Dulac, revealed via Twitter that the operator's LTE network covered 88 percent of the French population as of 01 January, up from 84 percent reported at the end of September 2016. This compares with the 85 percent coverage announced by Bouygues Telecom as of 01 January, communicated via Twitter alongside its existing target of 99 percent coverage set for the end of 2018.
