Orange demonstrates automated 5G network slice management with HPE and Casa Systems

Orange has teamed up with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Casa Systems to carry out a technical demonstration of automated 5G network slice orchestration, developed to support latency-sensitive business use cases. The operator said that the presentation proved the ability of a cloud-native 5G core network to create a new dedicated network slice automatically, when detecting quality-of-service (QoS) degradations on a common network slice.
