Orange France commits to improving universal service delivery after missing targets

French telecom authority Arcep said that Orange failed to meet a number of indicators set within its universal service targets. Over the first and second quarters of the year, universal service delivery deteriorated, partly because of the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In response to the situation, Orange has presented a plan to the regulator, committing to improve its performance in the second half of the year. Publishing this plan, Arcep said that it will closely monitor the respect of the obligations.
