Orange France gets mobile football rights until 2016

Orange France has secured mobile rights to Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 football matches until June 2016. The operator has held mobile rights to Ligue 1 matches since 2004, but will now include the second division and will address tablet users. The operator will stream footage from all Ligue 1 matches, with 10 complete matches on every championship day, the biggest Ligue 2 games and a 'best of' Ligue 2 programme. Orange will also provide on-demand content from both leagues in near-live mode for match summaries and daily compilations from each championship day. Customers will be able to use the 3G/LTE
