Orange France plans to release OTT TV dongle - CEO

Orange CEO Stephane Richard told French publication l'Opinion that Orange France will soon sell a dongle and propose a service that will be different than Google's. The primary channel for French consumers to view IPTV is through STBs, but the dongle remains a way for Orange to offer innovative content and services to internet customers who do not have a Livebox. He did not give a specific time frame for the release of the new product. Google introduced its Chromecast OTT TV dongle in France in mid-March.
