Orange France provides connectivity for delayed 2020 Tour de France

Orange France is the operator responsible for connecting the 2020 Tour De France, delayed by the coronavirus pandemic and now set to take place form 29 August to 20 September. The operator said the new dates meant laying down mobile network fibre and other infrastructure had to be completed within very tight time frames. Orange added that it this year also deployed a unique system to remotely manage post-race press conferences. The system uses Orange Fibre, which allows 4K UHD-quality video conferences, linking the interview bus to the press room. This will allow the media to remotely
