Orange France reaches deal with Netflix

Orange France will offer Netflix to its customers from November, reports Le Monde without citing its sources. The SVOD service will be made available to customers on their TVs via home gateways, as well as on tablets and smartphones. Orange will be the second French operator to offer Netflix after Bouygues, which started carrying Netflix on 15 September, the day the service entered the French market. Orange chairman and CEO Stephane Richard later confirmed at the operator's annual Hello event that a deal had been reached with Netflix and that the service would begin in "a few weeks." He said,
