Orange France has signed a framework agreement with US pay channel HBO for 4 years. Although the price was not divulged, it is expected to be much more than their previous agreement of EUR 7-8 million a year, according to Les Echos. The operator has first refusal on any series produced by HBO, which makes the popular shows "Girls", "Game of Thrones" and "Boardwalk Empire". Orange will air the latest episodes on the OCS channels the day after they are shown in the US.
