Orange joins forces with French university to research quantum cryptography

Orange is participating in a research project led by French university UCA (Universite Cote d'Azur), in which the operator is testing quantum cryptography on an experimental network near the city of Nice. Adam Ouorou, the director responsible for Trust & Security research at Orange Innovation, told LeMagIT that the tests focus on communication security in the quantum era, by researching data encryption methods that are not vulnerable to hacking.
