Orange Kenya freezes recruitment

Orange Kenya has frozen staff recruitment to cut its wage bill, Business Daily reported. CEO Mickael Ghossein said only departing staff will be replaced, on a case-by-case basis. Ghossein said the current employee salaries ratio of 22 percent of its total revenue is 7 percentage points higher than the ideal cost of staff in the market.
