Orange launches 4G in Oviedo after EUR 6.5 mln investment

Orange Spain has announced the launch of 4G services in the city of Oviedo, the capital of the northern Spanish region of Asturias. The deployment has seen the operator invest around EUR 6.5 million in modernizing its access and transmission network to carry mobile data at 4G speeds. Orange's 4G network now covers the entire metropolitan area of Oviedo, including Ciudad Naranco and Vallobin to the north, La Corredoria and Colloto to the east, the ring road to the south and the university area and Carlos Tartiere stadium to the west.
