Orange launches new initiative to recycle mobile phones

Orange France is launching a two-week initiative on 18 May to encourage customers who visits its retail stores to recycle their mobile handsets. The company will offer a minimum of EUR 10 for each phone traded in by customers buying a new one, committing to take over 3,000 models depending on the phone condition. For each handset, the charity group Emmaus International will receive EUR 2 to support their recycling programme in Africa.
