Orange launches Orange Money in Botswana

Orange Botswana launched a mobile money transfer service called Orange Money in partnership with Standard Chartered Bank. This is the seventh African country in which the service is available. The service is designed to provide Orange's mobile customers with access to basic financial services wherever they live and even if they do not have a bank account. Orange Money is a mobile phone-based system that allows customers to carry out simple banking operations and secure transactions.
