Orange loses appeal, but fine cut in W Indies case - report

Orange Caraibe and France Telecom have lost their appeal in a 2004 case brought by Bouygues Telecom and Outremer Telecom for anti-competitive behaviour in the French West Indies, reports Les Echos, which did not name its source. The Paris appellate court has confirmed a EUR 52.5 million fine for Orange Caraibe and has reduced a fine specifically for France Telecom from EUR 10 million to EUR 7.5 million.
