Orange Luxembourg reported revenue of EUR 17.9 million for the last three months of 2017, up 7.1 percent year-on-year. The pace of growth eased back from the previous quarter, as mobile service revenues progressed at a slower pace (5.5% from 11.3% in Q3) to reach EUR 11.9 million. While mobile subscriptions continued to increase across the board, the year-on-year movement in blended mobile ARPU returned to negative territory (-5.7%), after the first positive growth in fifteen quarters reported in Q3 2017.

Postpaid connections increased by 10.7 percent year-on-year to 107,700 (+5,800 quarterly net additions) and IoT/M2M SIMs reached 65,000, up 20.6 percent from the year-earlier period.

Fixed service revenues rose 36.6 percent to EUR 1.7 million, supported by subscriber growth. The fixed broadband internet and TV customer base progressed to 11,700, an increase of 1,800 over the quarter. This improvement was supported by new broadband offers launched in September 2017, including a high-speed fibre offer (La Fibre 100 % Fibre) and a standard broadband offer (Internet @ Home). Similarly, the fixed-line customer base grew significantly to reach 2,100 – a four-fold rise from approximately 500 in the previous quarter.
