Orange Poland secures court reduction in misleading ad fine

Tuesday 30 April 2019 | 13:35 CET | News
The Polish Court of Competition and Consumer Protection (SOKiK) ruled that Orange Poland must pay a penalty of PLN 13 million for misleading Neostrada advertising, writes Puls Biznesu. In 2017, the regulator UKE imposed a fine of PLN 16.3 million on Orange, against which the operator appealed. The SOKiK's verdict maintained the decision of UKE, but decided that the sanction was too severe and reduced it to PLN 13 million.
