Orange Romania opens EU Code Week with SuperCoders event

Orange Romania inaugurated EU Code Week, an initiative held at an European level for encouraging the study of software programming languages among children through the event called '#SuperCoders'. This event is a workshop dedicated to children with ages between 10 and 13 in which participants will be able to learn software programming languages that will later on enable them to create digital content such as games, stories, and animations. Supercoders will take place on 11 October at Impact Hub in Bucharest.

The event will last for half of day and will be attended by 40 children in Romania and tens of other children from foreign countries. The participants will be invited to create their own animations using the 'Scratch'. Supercoders is an initiative held at the Orange Group and is organised concomitant in four countries in which the company is present, namely France, Poland, Romania and Spain. The second edition of EU Code Week will take place between 11-17 October.
