Orange showcases Bluetooth platform at Roland-Garros

Wednesday 25 May 2016 | 08:26 CET | News
Orange France is the official sponsor of the French Open tennis tournament for the 12th consecutive year. For this year's Roland-Garros (22 May-05 June) Orange has combined 4G/4G+ and fibre to provide stronger mobile coverage throughout the venue, and is offering free Wi-Fi three areas. It has installed around 30 Orange Beacons inside or close to the Stade Roland Garros that use Bluetooth to allow users of the 'My RG' application to receive instructions guiding them to their seats, to show their tickets and to receive location-based information.
