Orange Slovakia launches 5G network in Bratislava, Banska-Bystrica

Orange Slovakia has launched its 5G network in the cities of Bratislava and Banska-Bystrica, reports Zive.aktuality.sk. The services are available in the neighbourhood Petrzalka in the capital city, as well as in part of the city centre in Banska Bystrica. The operator uses the 3.5 GHz band for 5G services, reachingdownload speeds up to 600 Mbps and an upload speed of 70-80 Mbps. The network is based the equipment from Nokia.
