Orange Spain sheds 50,000 mobile lines through porting in October

Thursday 9 November 2017 | 08:53 CET | News
Orange and Vodafone Spain lost 50,400 and 28,000 mobile lines respectively in October, as the Masmovil group continued to lure customers to its range of brands. The latest data published by website movilonia.com saw Spain's three leading mobile network operators (MNOs) all post losses from number porting, although Movistar (Telefonica) fared somewhat better than in recent months with just 4,400 net losses last month. The Masmovil group's main brand gained a total of 24,300 lines, while its Yoigo and Pepephone brands added some 21,000 and 6,100 lines respectively.
