Orange Spain sheds over 40,000 ported clients in May - report

The majority of Spain's operators begun attracting ported customers again in May after the temporary suspension of mobile number portability processes resulted in significantly fewer changes of operator the previous month. Unofficial figures published by business daily Expansion revealed that Digi Mobil gained some 10,700 new lines in May after shedding 1,700 in April, while the Masmovil group gained 18,600 lines gained across its Yoigo, Masmovil, Pepephone, Lebara, Hits Mobile, LlamaYa, Oceans and Lycamobile brands.
