Orange Spain to bring FTTH to Montijo in EUR 1.1 mln rollout

Orange Spain has announced an agreement to bring fibre-optic services to the town of Montijo in Extremadura in a project valued at EUR 1.1 million. Around 7,700 premises, equivalent to practically all local homes and businesses, will have fibre-optic coverage in less than a year, said Orange. The operator has already spent around EUR 400,000 to extend its 4G network to 90 percent of the town's population.
