Orange Spain to invest EUR 228 mln in Andalucia

Orange Spain has announced a major investment to substantially increase the coverage of its FTTH and 4G networks in the southern region of Andalucia. The company said its fibre-optic service will be expanded to around 1.8 million homes thanks to an investment of around EUR 156 million and it will also spend around EUR 72.5 million to bring 4G technology to 95 percent of the region's population. The operator has already invested around EUR 400 million to improve the local 4G and FTTH infrastructure.
