Brazil's Orange Tecnologia has launched the IPTV Orange platform, which offers a set of applications for cable TV operators and ISPs to implement TV over IP, based on Brazilian technology and local support. The new platform will enable the transmission of over-the-top (OTT) programming from the internet, with the necessary copyright protection of content. The new platform will be officially presented during the ABTA 2012 event, which runs from 31 July to 02 August in Sao Paolo.
