Orange to invest in rural fibre deployment in Haute-Vienne department

Orange has been selected to bring FTTP connectivity to approximately 65,000 rural premises in the French department of Haute Vienne. Local authorities chose the operator over rivals SFR and Covage following a call for expressions of commitment at local level, known as AMEL (Appels a Manifestation d'Engagements Locaux).
