Orange tops French LTE cell site activations in June

French spectrum agency ANFR reports that 29,870 LTE cell sites were in service as of 01 July in France (excluding the overseas territories). Orange recorded the largest monthly increase in cell sites among the country's four MNOs, adding 698 in June to reach 12,304 overall. Bouygues Telecom remained the operator with the largest number of active sites, bringing its total to 12,935 (+562), while SFR closely followed its two main rivals with 12,223 sites (+497).
