Orange Tunisia plans to launch Mobile Money before the end of the year, France Telecom-Orange's director of international relations for contactless payment systems, Jean-Christophe Bernard, announced at a conference on microfinance in Tunis. The operator said that only half of Tunisia's bank account holders are using bank cards at present and that its service could complement bank cards "excellently".
