Ossia receives investment from KDDI

Tuesday 27 January 2015 | 16:50 CET | News
Japanese mobile operator KDDI invested in Ossia, the company behind the Cota remote wire-free charging technology, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund. In recent months Ossia has raised more than USD 10 million. These funds are being used to accelerate research and development of the Cota technology, as well as move toward the integration of Cota technology with its business partners, and continued expansion of current business partnerships leading ultimately to the commercialisation of Cota into the marketplace.
