OT, Axis Bank to launch EMV contactless smart card in India

Oberthur Technologies (OT), a provider of embedded security software products and services, has signed a partnership agreement with India's Axis Bank, to offer open loop EMV contactless smart cards to be used in public transportation in Bengaluru city. Axis Bank will launch open loop smart cards in India to be used in public transportation.
