OTE revenues fall 1.3% in Q1, EBITDA down 5.1%

Greek operator OTE reported lower first-quarter results, as continued growth in the fixed market was offset by weakness in mobile and at its Romanian activities. Revenues fell 1.3 percent to EUR 928.5 million, and adjusted EBITDA declined 5.1 percent to EUR 309.3 million. The margin dropped to 33.3 percent from 34.7 percent a year ago. Net profit fell 16.1 percent to EUR 33.9 million. After a 3.1 percent increase in capital expenditure to EUR 164.7 million, adjusted operating cash flow fell 11.2 percent to EUR 189 million. OTE said it expects market conditions to remain challenging this year,
