OTE sues union over latest strike

Greek operator OTE said it's suing all those responsible for the latest strike at the company, which it deems as anti-democratic since it prevents employees who want to work from working. The new bureau of the OME-OTE union announced a three-week strike in the midst of the festive period to impose conditions that would put OTE 20 years behind, OTE says in a press release. The union called a strike for all working days over the holidays after the company decided not to fill eight security positions following dismissals.
