OTE to launch voluntary exit programmes for 1,400 employees

Friday 17 January 2020 | 17:04 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom-owned group is entering a fresh period of reducing both its staff and its operation costs as talks between the management and the unionists at OTE resumed on 16 January with the aim to sign a new collective labor contract, writes local paper Ekathimerini.com. OTE announced the end of the strike of OME-OTE trade union on 12 January. The announcement came days after OTE said it's suing all those responsible for the latest strike at the company, which it deemed as anti-democratic since it prevents employees who want to work from working.
