OTT TV, video revenues to reach USD 2.6 bln in 2020

OTT TV and video revenues in EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) will reach USD 2.635 billion in 2020, up from only USD 52 million recorded in 2010 and the USD 616 million expected in 2015, according to a report by Digital TV Research. Of the USD 2.21 billion in revenues to be added between 2014 and 2020, Russia will contribute USD 795 million, while Turkey will bring in a further USD 219 million. Russia will remain the largest revenue earner by some distance. SVOD (subscription video-on-demand) will become the region's largest OTT revenue source in 2017. SVOD revenues will total USD
