Otto to launch Yapital online payment service

Wednesday 21 March 2012 | 13:17 CET | News
German mail order company Otto will launch an online payment service with the brand name Yapital in 2013, according to teltarif.de. Yapital will be similar to eBay's online payment service Paypal and was designed to simplify payments for Otto customers. For this purpose, Otto has founded the Yapital Financial Bank in Luxemburg. The service will allow payments via smartphone, for example via QR-code scanning. Yapital CEO Nils Winkler said that the company will stand out from the crowd. No information on fees have been given yet.
