Over 1 in 10 Spanish homes changed mobile operator in 2016

Around 11.4 percent of Spanish households changed their mobile operator in 2016, nearly two percentage points less than in 2015, according to a report from communications regulator CNMC. The main reason for changing mobile operator was cost, with over six on ten households saying they decided to move to save money. The percentage of homes changing fixed broadband provider in 2016 came to 10.9 percent, up from 10.6 percent in the previous year, with 56.9 percent saying they changed to secure a cheaper deal, followed by 29.4 percent who moved because they weren't satisfied with the quality of
